Rincon de Guayabitos/LaPenita are approximately 4o kilometers/30 miles North of the
Puerto Vallarta airport. Taxis and rental cars are available at or near the airport.
Bus service is excellent and can be accessed from the airport at the nearby Puerto Vallarta central bus station. Take a short taxi ride from the airport to the bus station. Ask the taxi service for the Central Camionera. Purchase tickets at the "Pacifico" desk inside. Tell them you are going to LaPenita. Upon arrival in La Penita, Guayabitos Bed and Breakfast is then just a short local taxi ride.
Once you reach Guaybitos, turn into the entrance near the landmark tall white mushroom-like water tower. Turn right on Sol Nuevo and continue, entering the Zona Residencia. Continue for approximately one mile, (you will pass the first entrance to Avenida de los Flamingos) until the avenida ends at a foot bridge and 'returno'. Drive around the returno and back-track one block to the first right, which is the second entrance to Avenida de los Flamingos. Continue on Flamingos for about two blocks; the avenida makes a left curve. We are the gold home on the right, with the red door. #43.
Of note: There are two entrances from Sol Nuevo to Avenida de los Flamingos. You will want the second entrance. Also, there are multiple homes in our neighborhood with duplicate numbers. Strange but true! The other #43 is a white home on the left further up the street!
